Kane Husky, 23, associates himself with the furry fandom. (What is the furry fandom?) Throughout his life, he knew he had a special connection with animals and seemed to enjoy the wilderness. It wasn't until around 2006 that he learned about the furry fandom and that there were thousands, if not millions, of people around the world that shared his same interests. Once he became aware of this group of people, he quickly became active among the community; joining social networking sites associated with the fandom and even attending some of the many conventions held throughout the U.S. and abroad. His first furry convention was Further Confusion 2008 in San Jose, CA. Since then, he's attended several conventions along the east coast of the U.S. His fursuit "Kane" was debuted at Anthrocon 2009, but received a 'facelift' so to speak before being finalized for FWA 2010.
