Furry Weekend Atlanta 2011

This year, Furry Weekend Atlanta took place at a new hotel; the Sheraton Atlanta in downtown. The new hotel was nice, but the convention space was a maze and wasn't utilized as well as it could have been. Minus a few hiccups, this year was also great. I got to meet more friends that I had met and talked to online. It's always great to meet them face-to-face and it helps solidify friendships. Last year we chose to go to the Georgia Aquarium so this year we went to the World of Coca-Cola. Being a Coke fan, I really enjoyed it and spent probably more money than any normal person would, but it was a one-time thing and I had to make the most out of it. Overall, I had a great time this year and I can't wait until next year - with hopes that the first-time-hotel kinks are worked out. Until then, I'm currently counting down the days until Anthrocon 2011 in June!
